COTTON TRANSPERENCY

Buy purchasing an Aji Filter you are contributing to a much larger greater good.

We source our cotton through a social enterprise that supports the region and cotton producers in Bihar, India. Learn more about the cotton we use here.

By replacing single use paper filters with reusable cotton coffee filters you are able to remove around 1,000 filters from landfill each year and slow down the deforestation of trees used to make each paper filter.

multi bennefit model

If there is one thing we have learnt from working in the coffee industry for 10 years its that farmers and producers are often overlooked, with majority of the profits of coffee beans going to coffee roasters.

Paying fair prices for coffee is vital for long term sustainable growth and partnerships between coffee farmers and roasters.

With all this in mind we built our pricing structure around the cost of labour to manufacturer Aji Filters and the price of cotton in particular.

While $30 may not seem like much it allows us to continue fostering our relationship with cotton producers and save thousands of trees from needlessly being cut down.
